		let me lodge
		in the garden of your eyelashes
		a thin flutter
		frames the oval of your face
		my mouth will not touch it
		for fear of spooking it

		in the garden of your eyelashes
		the cherries are out of bloom
		it is suffocatingly hot

		obedient to my breaths
		the last golden leaf
		circling stuck lightly to the ground

		the sky is burning
		in the garden of your eyelashes
