		of your warm mouth
		to tell the butterfly met by happenstance
		on a thistle shoot

		it folded its wings and now sleepy
		loops in color on the surface of the day

		the pines
		were jealous with the scent
		of their prickly resin leaves

		the sea
		deeply purple
		tenses its unquiet back
		tries its teeth at the iron side of the ship

		to tell the bird's wings
		flashing white

		to tell the earth
		which one is consigned to drill
		with one's own helpless body
		drill deep
