		How to part with your stubborn mouth.
		Each evening it awaits me between the window
		and the dark cupboard's side -- pressed into
		the corner in the spider's old lodging place.
		My mother chased away the spiders -- armed with
		a broom and a smile -- but your mouth has resisted
		both the broom and her naive words.
		It has remained in the corner.
		Each evening I lie down in bed alone and that's when
		it begins to shine -- at first it appears slightly
		green -- then it yellows like leaves do only to
		arrive in an orgy of purple ivy at midnight.  Ever
		since I had your mouth I have believed in ghosts.
		Midnight strikes -- the twelve slow chimes twist
		into the cupboard's side -- with the redness of my
		stubborn blood.

		Co wieczo/r oczekuja/ na mnie pomie/dzy oknem
		a bokiem ciemnego kredensu -- przyparte w ka/t
		do dawnego mieszkania paja/ka.
		Paja/ki przepe/dzil/a moja matka -- uzbrojona
		w miotl/e/ i us/miech -- ale twoje usta oparl/y
		sie/ i miotle i jej naiwnym sl/owom.
		Zostal/y w ka/cie.
		Co wieczo/r kl/ade/ sie/ do l/o/z/ka sama i
		wtedy zaczynaja/ s/wiecic/ -- najpierw sa/
		lekko zielone -- z/o/l/kna/ jak lis/cie z/eby
		orgia/ purpurowego dzikiego wina stac/ sie/
		o po/l/nocy.  Odka/d mam twoje usta uwierzyl/am
		w duchy.  Po/l/noc bije -- dwanas/cie powolnych
		uderzen/ wkre/ca sie/ w bok kredensu -- czerwienia/
		mojej upartej krwi.
