		I did not speak in a smile
		because the smile
		did not make the sharp curve
		it vanished


		I did not cry in fright
		fright is dumb
		stands by the wall
		it stares

		I did not run up
		on fast legs
		because my legs do not walk
		they grow

		I only nestled my head
		in your soft sympathy
		and it was just like a cat's dream
		by a stove purring
		warm of fur
